Would you like to be active? Kayaking on the rivers or in the reservoir, hiking or biking in the nature park, with or without a guide? Plenty of options, the area around our casa is ideal for these sports and the Serra de Aire é Candeeiros nature park is also nearby.

We have a number of rivers nearby such as the Tejo, the Nabão and the Zêzere where you can do kayak tours. A beautiful trip is past Amourol Castle. A little further afield you can take a kayak tour on the Mondego River near Coimbra.

Several trails have been set out in the area for cycling and walking routes. There are also quite a few caves to visit such as the Caves of Mira de Aire, the largest in Portugal. Upon arrival, feel free to ask about all the options and tours you can do.
